June 7 - We're Going To Alaska!

Anita and I are big fans of talk radio. Although a local AM station carries our favorite program, we like to listen on WNOX-FM out of Knoxville, Tennessee. They have an afternoon show, hosted by Phil Williams, that we also enjoy whenever we are able. Last summer, Mr. Williams started advertising a trip that will include a cruise to Alaska followed by a motorcoach tour of southern British Columbia, down through the Rocky Mountains and ending at Salt Lake City. We decided to join the tour, and will be leaving next Sunday. We're actually leaving early so we can spend time with Anita's cousins near Tacoma, and will be extending the end of the trip in order to travel down to Las Vegas, where son Jeff and daughter-in-law Amy are now living. We'll also take time for a train trip on the fourth of July ;-)
